Hi, I’m Thomas.

If I’m not at a wedding, you’ll probably find me about a ten minute walk from my house, right on the Ayr beach. The sea has always been my reset button.

I’m 44 now, but the most defining chapter of my life started when I was 25. I’ve raised my daughter, Tracey, full time since she was four; she’s 24 now and out in the world. I’m also a super proud dad to my two 12 year old sons, Jaxon and Charlie. Being a full time dad for nearly twenty years is the hardest and best thing I’ve ever done. It taught me a level of patience you just can’t learn anywhere else, which comes in handy when I’m keeping a wedding day on track and making sure everyone feels included.

I’ve always believed you’re never too old to start something new. At 34, I went back to college to learn to cook properly; I was the oldest person in the class, but I didn’t care. I just wanted to master the craft. I brought that same "always a student" mindset into photography five years ago, and I haven't looked back since.

When the camera is off, I’m a bit of a nerd at heart:

• The Big Screen: I’m a massive film and TV buff. Give me Star Wars, Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, Fallout, or Stranger Things. Just don’t ask me to sit through a cheesy chick flick or a horror movie, I’ll definitely pass.

• The Pitch: During the week, you’ll find me playing 5-a-side. I usually end up in goals, which is basically just another version of staying calm under pressure and watching everyone's back.

• The Kitchen: I love to cook and bake. Sometimes my sons help out, and sometimes they just help eat whatever I’ve made.

• The Reset: Strong tea (definitely not Tetley), fresh air, and a bit of online gaming are my go-tos for switching off.

I’ve lived a life full of loud kids, 5-a-side matches, and constant learning. I’m just a normal guy who found a job he loves, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I value real conversations and a good laugh over anything fancy or forced—and that’s exactly the energy I bring to your wedding day.
